Draped in 80 years of history, Barbican House retains much of its original character.
The building sits on the doorstep of the Walmgate Bar, one of four medieval gateways to the old city, dating back to the 14th century. Steps to the city walls allow visitors to walk along the perimeter of York’s historic city centre within a couple of hours.
